Contacts

Overview

Contacts keeps the people you work with in one place. Each contact holds names, company, job title, multiple emails and phones, labels and notes. Import from your old tools, organise with labels and groups, and let the same directory power the Telephony dialer.

• Add, edit, delete. Manage contacts individually, or paste a list to create many at once.
• Search. Filter instantly across names, company, job title, emails, phones and labels.
• Starred favorites. Star important contacts and filter to just them.
• Labels & groups. Create custom labels and contact groups, assign them in bulk, and filter by either.
• vCard import/export. Bring in .vcf files from Apple or Google Contacts and export contacts back out as vCard.
• Google CSV import. Import a Google Contacts CSV export, with format auto-detection and a preview before importing.
• Duplicate merge. Detect duplicates by shared email or name, pick a primary, and merge — unioning emails, phones, labels and notes.
• Bulk actions. Multi-select to label, group, email, export, merge or delete in one go.
• Powers the phone directory. Contacts with phone numbers become dialable entries in Telephony.

How it works

Contacts are stored per organisation and served from the workspace API. Import and export run as vCard and CSV in the browser, with server-side export for larger sets. The same records feed the shared directory that Telephony reads to build its dialable phone directory, and every request rides your workspace single sign-on.
