Calendar

Overview

Calendar gives you day, week and month views, a mini-month navigator and a stack of toggleable calendars — your own, plus Tasks, Birthdays and Holidays. Create events with recurrence, guests and reminders, and add a video meeting that everyone can join straight from the event.

Features

• Day, week & month views. Switch views, jump to Today, and browse with the mini-month navigator in the sidebar.
• Multiple calendars. Your primary calendar plus Tasks, Birthdays and Holidays — each colour-coded and toggleable; create your own calendars too.
• Item types. Create Events, Tasks, Out-of-office blocks and Focus time, each with its own look in the grid.
• Recurrence. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annually, every weekday, or a custom rule (interval plus chosen weekdays). Edit or delete just this occurrence or the whole series.
• Attendees. Invite guests by email and track their RSVP status (accepted, declined, tentative or awaiting); respond Accept / Decline / Maybe yourself.
• Reminders. Add notifications from at-time-of-event up to 1 day before, with multiple reminders per event.
• Meet meeting on an event. Attach a video meeting — generate a new Meet room or reuse an existing one — and everyone gets a Join button and a shareable link. When the first person joins, invited attendees get a "Meeting started" alert.
• All-day events. Mark events all-day; they show in a dedicated strip above the time grid.
• Colours, status & visibility. Pick from eight event colours, set busy/free status and default/public/private visibility.
• Tasks integration. Tasks appear on a dedicated calendar and can be checked off; completed tasks show struck through.

How it works

Events are stored with start and end times, attendees, reminders and an optional recurrence rule (RRULE), which the calendar expands into individual occurrences across whichever view you're in. Attaching a meeting creates or links a Meet room tied to the event, so the Join link travels with the invite. Calendar visibility preferences are kept per user, and access uses the same workspace sign-on.
