Books

Overview

Books is a reading library hosted in your workspace. Upload books and documents and they appear as a cover-art grid you can star, organise onto shelves and search. Open one and the built-in reader renders it in the browser — EPUB, PDF, plain text and CBZ comics — keeping your place, your bookmarks and your highlights in sync wherever you read.

Features

• Five formats. Store EPUB, PDF, MOBI, CBZ and TXT files; EPUB, PDF, TXT and CBZ render in the in-browser reader, and any format can be downloaded.
• In-browser reader. A dedicated reader per format — paginated EPUB, page-by-page PDF, scrollable TXT, and a CBZ comic viewer.
• Reading progress. Your last location and percent-read are saved per book and synced across devices; mark a book finished when you're done.
• Bookmarks. Drop labelled bookmarks at any point and jump back to them from a side panel.
• Highlights & notes. Highlight passages in yellow, green, blue or pink and attach a note; review them all in a highlights panel.
• Shelves. Group books into named shelves (collections) and filter the library to one shelf.
• Covers & metadata. Each book carries title, author and description; upload a cover image or edit the details, and star favourites.
• Upload. Add books by uploading the file directly into your library.

How it works

Books stores your files in the workspace's object storage and serves them under the workspace origin for the reader to render in-browser. Per-user reading progress, bookmarks, highlights and shelf membership live in the platform database, so the same book opens to the same page no matter which device you pick up.
